Really fun game, the character design is great! I love the Paper Mario style for the player's character and how it contrasts to the detailed platforms you traverse. My main critique would be the way the feet clip into the floor, I'm sure this is intentional since it's a desert level but maybe some particle effects mimicing sand when the player walks would make it look more intentional.

Love it - give us more sound effects! Exploding dynamite would be good!
The graphics, menu & instruction screens are great, by the way.
